Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday alleged the earlier YSRCP authorities had used substandard elements and animal fats in making the world famend Tirupati laddu, a consecrated candy.
The wanted Tirupati laddu is given at Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirupati, which is run by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
“Even Tirumala laddu was made with substandard elements…they used animal fats as an alternative of ghee,” claimed Naidu whereas addressing an NDA legislative get together assembly right here.
Nevertheless, the CM asserted, pure ghee was now getting used and the whole lot has been sanitised on the temple, resulting in improved high quality.
